Reagrellagh holds a fifty-metre earthen ring where crop marks still trace the levelled bank, marking it as a place set apart for life or defense. Hartnett identified entrances at the north and southwest, suggesting people moved through the ridge rather than climbing over it. The fort has surrendered much of its shape to tillage, yet the circular boundary remains visible enough to provoke imagination about the hands that built it and the days it watched.

In tillage. Circular area (diam. c. 50m) defined by earthen bank to S; crop-mark indicates line of levelled bank elsewhere. Hartnett (1939, 238) recorded 'entrances at the N and SW'.
