Magic breathes through Rathreagh Beg, where a forgotten child still runs circles inside the earth bank. The fort is small enough to touch on all sides, yet large enough to swallow a whole village when storms strip the pasture bare. Its southeast gap does not suggest weakness; it points toward the hills like an invitation. What is missing from the ditch is not loss but permission, for fairies never build dead ends.

In pasture, on gentle N-facing slope. Circular area (25.5m N-S; 26m E-W) enclosed by earthen bank (int. H 0.3m; ext. H 0.5m). Bank dips to negligible height at SE (Wth 6.5m). External fosse (Wth 1.4m; D 0.15m) is evident all round apart from 6.5m stretch at SE. Interior, under pasture, rises gently towards centre.
