What is recorded here

Mound and ditch still circle Rathmoyle, a twenty-seven metre ring marked by earthen bank and western fosse. No entrance survives to show where people entered or left. The shape excludes rather than invites, as if the fort were built around absence instead of life.

In undulating countryside. A circular area (diam. c. 27m) defined by an earthen bank (Wth c. 2.6m, int. H c. 0.5m, ext. H c. 1.8m) and fosse (Wth c. 3.8m) at W. No evidence of original entrance.
