Half a kilometre west of the parish church, a grassy circle thirty metres across still holds its shape on the ridge. The earthen bank rises two metres at the north east, but collapses to a shallow scar at the south west where the outer ditch has been cut through. Two gaps mark the entrances, yet both look like later cuts rather than the original doors. The fairies may have built it, but human hands certainly shaped the soil before forgetting the name of the first person who lived inside.

Situated on a col with valleys to the S and E and higher ground to the SE, and SW-N-NE. This is a circular grass-covered area (diam. 33m WNW-ESE; 31.2m NNE-SSW) defined by an earthen bank (at NE: Wth 5.2m; int. H 1.8m; ext. H 1.5m) and hedge W-N-SSE, which is almost reduced to an external scarp (at SW: Wth 3.2m; int. H 0.4m; ext. H 3m) elsewhere. There is an outer fosse (at SW: Wth of base 2m; ext. D 0.6m) E-SW, and there are entrances at SE (Wth 4.3m) and NW (Wth 4.7m), both of which appear to be modern.
