What is recorded here
Fairy forts are not fairy forts. They are human houses, farms and refuges from another time. The fairies are the later story, not the truth. A ringfort is a ringfort. That is what it is.
In level pasture. Sub-circular area (28m N-S; 31m E-W) enclosed by earthen bank (int. H 0.55m; ext. H 0.7m) with external fosse (Wth 1.8m; D 0.3m). Break in bank (Wth 3.6m) and causeway (Wth 6.4m) across fosse at E. Interior level and under grass.
