Rashinagh holds a broken fairy fort on a low hillock, its earth bank reduced to a scarp and its interior choked with bedrock and overgrowth. The irregular shape resists easy belief, yet preservation has erased more than form. What remains is a threshold rather than a room, inviting imagination to complete what decay has removed.

On top of a low hillock in undulating countryside. Poorly preserved irregular shaped enclosure defined by an earth and stone bank reduced to a scarp in places. Impossible to examine due to its poor preservation and dense overgrowth, a lot of natural bedrock protrudes from surface of interior making habitation unsuitable. Does not resemble a ringfort however this may be due to poor state of site preservation.
