Situated in a river valley with the river nearby to the S. A raised circular area defined by an earthen bank (Wth 2.9m; int. H 0.4m; ext. H 1.4m) mainly reduced to a scarp and a U-shaped external fosse (Wth 5m). A large quantity of scrub clearance and dead wood is dumped in the NW quadrant and the fosse is infilled in this sector. A NNW-SSE field boundary clips the site at SW-W.
