Situated on a NNE-facing slope of rising ground in an upland area. Originally an oval-shaped area (diam. 35m N-S) enclosed by an earth and stone bank (Wth 2.5m; int. H 1m; ext. H 0.9m) with no clear entrance feature visible. Field fences intersect the bank at S, NW and NNE.
