Fairy fort in Pallas, County Cork: a 37m earthen ring, 2.75m high, set in pasture on a north-facing slope. People may have lived inside the bank or kept livestock within it, while later workers added stone facing and left a gap to the south-east. The field around it has carried the fairy name for generations, reminding everyone that the ring still belongs to story as much as to history.

In pasture, on N-facing slope. Circular area (37m E-W) enclosed by earthen bank (H 2.75m), with modern stone facing NNW->SSE; shallow external fosse NNW->N. Break in bank to SSE.
