Fairy fort / earthen ringfort in Oldtown Kilcashel is a fairy fort or earthen ringfort in Oldtown Kilcashel, County Roscommon, Ireland. The circular grass-covered area measures 32 metres north-south and 29.5 metres east-west on a slight southeast-northwest spur. A grass-covered earth and stone bank, 2.2 to 3 metres wide, defines the perimeter with intermittently visible outer facing-stones from east-southeast to west to east-northeast. The bank reduces to a 0.7-metre scarp elsewhere, while no visible fosse or identifiable original entrance remains.
On a slight SE-NW spur. Circular grass-covered area (diam. 32m N-S; 29.5m E-W) defined by a grass-covered earth and stone bank (Wth 2.2-3m; int. H 0.1m at W to 0.5m at N; ext. H 0.4-0.7m) that has intermittently visible outer facing-stones ESE-W-ENE, which is reduced to a scarp (H 0.7m) elsewhere. There is no visible fosse or identifiable original entrance. Cashel (RO054-017----) is c. 140m to the SSE.
