Fairy fort / earthen ringfort in Newtown West is an earthen ringfort in County Clare, Ireland. Its exact age and purpose are not yet known, but the surviving earthwork suggests people shaped the land for defense, residence or ritual. The fairy fort name may reflect local tradition rather than fact, yet it reminds us that the site still feels alive and uncertain.
