What is recorded here
Situated at the top of a low rise in undulating terrain. Circular area (diam. 23m) defined by an earthen bank (Wth 2.5m; int. H 0.5m; ext. H 0.7m) and an external fosse indicated by a discontinuous hollow. The entrance consists of a gap (Wth 2m) at the SSW. There are no visible internal features.
Archaeological testing, carried out immediately to the N in 2004, in advance of construction of a dwelling (Excavation Licence 04E1514) did not reveal anything of archaeological significance (Byrne 2007, 488).
