What is recorded here
Half a hundred metres across, the invisible ring stands at the foot of the Hill of Lloyd. A hidden ditch and a buried passage mark its edges, waiting for someone brave enough to find the entrance.
Located on a low N-S spur at the S base of the Hill of Lloyd. The opening to the Man-made underground passage (ME016-055----) is c. 10m inside the perimeter of a rath at W. The rath is visible as the cropmark of an enclosure (diam. c. 55-60m) defined by a single ditch feature that is visible on Google Earth (24/03/2017; 07/05/2017; OSAP 2005). An entrance to the enclosure is not visible. The rath (ME016-023001-) and Man-made underground passage (ME016-023002-) are c. 170m to the WNW.
