Lios na Daraí, the ringfort of the oak, still stands in Mweevuck with a thirty-metre diameter and an earthen bank rising above a shallow fosse. People called it a fairy fort, perhaps because the circular shape and hidden interior invited more imagination than measurement. The oak may have marked the site, given shade or simply refused to leave the memory of the place.
Internal diameter 30m N-S, 31m E-W

Lisnadarree, or Lios na Daraí ("ringfort of the oak"), is an early-medieval univallate ringfort with an earthen bank and fosse, likely dating to between the 6th and 10th centuries AD. The site is associated with local folklore referring to it as a "fairy fort," reflecting the tradition that such mounds were believed to be the homes of the aos sí (fairy folk) in Irish mythology.
