Mullaghdoo holds a broken ring on a ridge, its sharp edge softened by grass and forgetting. The fairies may have built it, but humans certainly shaped it, perhaps watching the valley or hiding when danger passed. The gap in the west bank suggests entry, exit, or interruption. What is missing has not stopped the circle existing.

Located towards the SE end of a NW-SE drumlin ridge. This is an overgrown circular platform (diam. 28m NE-SW) defined by a scrub-covered scarp (H 1.6-1.8m) and an overgrown external flat-bottomed fosse (Wth of base 3-3.5m; D 0.8m). There is an overgrown outer bank (Wth 2m; ext. H 0.6m) NW-E-W which is disturbed by a field bank at W. There are entrances (Wth 3m) through both banks at SW.
