Fairy fort in Moyny East, County Cork. Rough circle, thirty-eight metres north to south and thirty-six east to west. Earthen bank rises one point two metres on the south-west to north-east side, elsewhere a shallower scarp of sixty-five centimetres. Stone facing remains in places. A field fence cuts across from north-east to south-west, opening gaps at both ends. Cultivation ridges still cross the interior east to west. The shape is small enough to walk around quickly, but the bank is tall enough to block the horizon when sitting inside it.

Roughly circular area (38m N-S; 36m E-W) bisected by field fence running NE-SW; enclosed by earthen bank (H 1.2m) SW->NE; scarp (H 0.65m) elsewhere; bank stone faced in parts. Gap to NE and SW, where field fence cuts bank. Cultivation ridges cross interior on E-W axis. The above description is derived from the published 'Archaeological Inventory of County Cork.
