What is recorded here

Moyadda Beg holds a earthen ringfort, a simple earthwork that likely marked a homestead or boundary long before written records. Its name invites fantasy, but its shape points to human labour: dug, carried, stacked and lived around. The fort may have served as a farmstead, a refuge or a small centre of local authority, depending on the era and the needs of its people. What is certain is that the land still carries the shape of that choice.
