What is recorded here

Moneymore East holds a circular rath nearly twenty-seven metres across, buried beneath bushes and a later field wall. Its twin earth banks and intervening ditch still frame a possible children's burial ground, suggesting the fort served life and death before modern agriculture scarred it. The gaps at northeast and northwest likely opened later, yet the original shape resists erasure.

In grassland overlooking marshy land to the S. This poorly preserved circular rath (diam. c. 27m) is defined by two banks of earth and stone and an intervening fosse, which are heavily overgrown with bushes. Gaps at NE and NW appear to be modern. A field wall overlies the outer bank. A possible children's burial ground (GA095-085001-) lies within the interior.
