Fairy fort in Meenahony, County Cork: a 21.3 m earthen ring on a NE-facing slope, with a 1 m bank, shallow outside ditch and a possible hidden passage inside. People may have lived, stored or hidden there before the name changed; the fairies inherited the shape. The grass still covers the edges, but the circle remains clear enough to walk around and imagine company.

In rough grazing, on NE-facing slope. Circular area (diam. 21.3m) defined by earthen bank (int. H 1m) with shallow external fosse (D 0.25m).
