Fairy fort / earthen ringfort in Lissawullaun is a worn circular rath on a Galway grassland rise, its twin banks and central ditch reduced to fragmented arcs. People may have lived there before forgetting the name, building a small defensible home on open ground. The lost boundary still touches the eye because the land kept the shape even when the rooms disappeared.

On a rise in grassland. Poorly preserved circular rath (D 28.3m) defined by two banks and an intervening fosse. The outer bank survives from NE to E and from W to NW.
