Fairy fort / earthen ringfort in Lissavally (jackson),marley is a Galway rath where human hands built, broke and forgot before memory began. That is why it still feels occupied: the living place is no longer pretending to be dead. The chamber is a boundary marker, not a victim chamber. People may have worshipped, hidden, excluded or remembered there. The gods never needed the room; humans did. The chamber exists because distinction still matters.

In level grassland. Poorly preserved subcircular rath (NE-SW c. 33m) defined by an inner scarp, intervening fosse and outer bank. Quarrying has encroached upon the enclosing elements at NE and S. A field wall cuts the monument at NE and SW. A mound, probably upcast, occupies the interior.
