Fairy fort in Lissatunny, County Galway: a 41-metre circular rath on a south-east-facing hill slope, its tree-lined bank still clear and a faint external ditch marked at the north-east. Inside toward the north-west lies a rectangular depression, perhaps a demolished structure or a pit dug for luck, memory or fear. People may have lived there, buried something or avoided it; the earth keeps the choice hidden.

On the SE-facing slope of a hill. This circular rath (diam. 41m), in fair condition, is defined by a well-preserved tree-lined bank with traces of an external fosse at NE.
