Fairy forts hide in plain sight, wearing farmyard clothes. This ringfort in Lissatotan has become a storage pit for tyres and forgotten machines, its earth bank broken or buried under grass. The fairies did not leave so much as rearrange the room, waiting for people to stop believing the wall was only a wall.

Atop low rise in gently undulating terrain. Interior of site has been incorporated into farmyard annex and is now used for storage of pallets, tyres, disused machinery etc., with main concrete yard and farm buildings immediately to N. Roughly circular area (34m N-S; 33m E-W) enclosed by earth-and-stone bank (int. H 1.25m; ext. H 1.9m) S->WNW. Bank, best preserved at SSW (int. H 1.6m), is heavily masked by vegetation overgrowth W->WNW. Bank has external stone-facing, similar to adjoining field walls, at WNW. Bank has been removed WNW->S.
