Fairy fort in Lissard is a well-preserved ringfort, not a fantasy claim. It stands in level grassland with two banks, a ditch between them, and stone still visible inside. Another ringfort waits one hundred metres south, as if the land kept two circles for different kinds of residence. People may have lived there, marked it, or simply avoided it after dark.

In level grassland. Well-preserved almost circular ringfort (D 36m) defined by two banks and an intervening fosse. Traces of stone revetment are visible on parts of the inner bank, and numerous breaches in the banks appear modern. A ringfort (GA073-126----) lies c. 100m to S.
