Galway Archaeological Survey, UCG mapped a 33-metre circular rath on an E-facing marshy slope before a field wall cut through its degraded scarp. The measurement leaves no room for fantasy, yet the name still claims the fort belongs to fairies because people stopped understanding why the earth formed that circle. Human hands may have built it, forgotten it, then reinvented it as fairy work to preserve the mystery.
