Fairy fort / earthen ringfort in Lissaniska (kilmaine By.) stands in County Mayo, Ireland. It contains a possible Man-made underground passage (MA100-120001-). People quarried much of the interior, leaving the earthen bank broken from SE to N. The wood and rock outcrop still surround the disturbed circle.
In rough ground, with rock outcrop and wood. Circular area (diam. 37.9m N-S), greatly disturbed, enclosed by earthen bank (H 1.1m) SE to N. Interior extensively quarried. Possible Man-made underground passage (MA100-120001-) in centre of interior. The above description has been derived from D.
