Fairy fort in Lissananny is a subcircular earthen ringfort on a grassland rise in County Galway, with two banks, a fosse, and a possible northern entrance. Its western and north-eastern edges remain the clearest, while a field boundary now cuts the outer bank. Inside lies a man-made underground passage, and another earthwork sits about 170 metres to the south-west. The name suggests local belief in fairy occupation, but the visible remains are human-made and partly forgotten.

On a rise in grassland. Poorly preserved subcircular rath (N-S 45m, E-W 42.2m) defined by two banks of earth and stone and an intervening fosse. The enclosing elements are best preserved from W to NE. Possible entrance at N. A field boundary cuts the outer bank at N. There is a Man-made underground passage (GA016-118----) within the interior.
