Fairy fort in Lissalohorig, County Cork: a 28 m earthen ring cut in half by a field boundary, its 1.5 m bank running west to east with a shallow fosse to the north-east. People may have lived there before becoming a fairy story, or the fairies may have taken the house and kept the shape. Either way the ring still stands in pasture, half-hidden by the line drawn across it.

In pasture, on gentle W-facing slope. Circular area (diam. c. 28m) cut in half by E-W field boundary; enclosed by earthen bank (H 1.5m) W->E; shallow external fosse to NNE.
