Fairy fort in Lissaleen, County Galway: an earthen ringfort, local legend claims the fairies still meet there at midnight. Human hands may have built the ridge for protection or pride, yet the story belongs to the creatures who never left. The land remembers both claims, which is why people still whisper instead of measuring.
