Fairy fort / earthen ringfort in Lissacroneen

In level pasture, overlooking sharp drop in slope to S. Circular area (diam. c. 35m) enclosed by earthen bank (H 0.8m) NW->W; external fosse (D 0.7m) in turn enclosed by field boundary. Causeway crosses fosse to W. Enclosure heavily overgrown; Man-made underground passage (CO108-02002-) in interior.
