Fairy fort in Lissaclarig East: earthen ringfort, 44m wide, on a hill crest in County Cork. Its broken bank and hidden western passage suggest more than abandoned pasture. Perhaps people moved through it at night, listening for breath in the soil.

In pasture, on crest of hill. Roughly circular area (41m N-S; 44m E-W) defined by earthen bank (H 2.5m); external fosse (D 1m). Bank heavily overgrown; broken to NE (Wth 4m), with causeway closed by stone wall; second gap and causeway to SSW (Wth 2m). Man-made underground passage (CO141-001002-) in W quadrant.
