Mortons has forgotten the fort, but the earth has not. A fifteen-metre ring of soil and shadow still stands beside the road, its broken edge pointing toward the water like a hand reaching for what it lost. The fairies never left; they only stopped being believed. They wait inside the green darkness for someone young enough to see them and foolish enough to answer.

Internal diam. 17m. A subcircular area enclosed by an earthen bank, a wide deep fosse and outer bank which survives to a height of c. 1.5m. There is a possible entrance in the E sector. The site is totally overgrown and a road skirts it on the N and E sides. It is situated on gently sloping land S of the River Erne.
