Fairy fort / earthen ringfort in Lissacapple is a raised oval area, thirty metres north-south and twenty-five east-west, enclosed by a substantial earthen bank and a fosse. The break at the north-east probably marks the original entrance. In certain instances the entries have been revised and updated in the light of recent research. It remains a quiet place where human life may have moved, hidden or waited beneath the field.

Raised oval area (int. dims. c. 30m N-S; 25m E-W) enclosed by a substantial earthen bank and a fosse identifiable only from N-E-S and replaced elsewhere by a modern field drain.
