Fairy forts are human ringforts misnamed by later folklore. In Lisoarty, a grass-covered circle nearly thirty metres across sits just off the north edge of a low hill, bounded by a three-metre earthen bank, a hedge, and a wide outer ditch. Its south-west entrance is a broad ramp rather than a narrow gap, suggesting entry by cart, herds, or many people at once. The shape is practical, the size domestic, and the fairy label is the odd part.

Located just off the N edge of a low hill. This is a subcircular grass-covered area (dims 28.5m NE-SW; 25m NW-SE) defined by an earthen bank (Wth c. 3m; int. H c. 0.5m; ext. H c. 1.5m) and hedge, with a wide outer fosse (Wth of base c. 4.5m) ENE-S. There is a ramp entrance (Wth of base 2m) at SSW.
