Marianne and O'Leary measured a circular earthen chamber above an underground passage in Lisnabrinny, not a discarded fairy ring. O'Leary called the stone chamber Cloghaun, shaped like a beehive, while Marianne recorded the living chamber as chamber one. The fort is not complete or dead; it is a cylindrical chamber above an underground chamber, waiting for the right person to walk through both doors.

In pasture on NW-facing slope. Heavily overgrown circular enclosure (diam. c. 40m), defined by earthen bank (H 2.5m), with possible external stone facing to NW; external fosse to NE. Access to interior not gained due to overgrowth. According to O'Leary (1975, 12) 'cloghan-type structure built of stone and shaped like a beehive', above entrance to Man-made underground passage (CO121-014002-); named 'Cloghaun' on both editions of the OS 6-inch map.
