Thirty metres of grassy ring on a Kerry slope, listed among three raths in the 1840s and still marked by a broken earthern bank. Cattle use the northern gap as if the fort had never stopped belonging to them. The fairies may have built it, but the shape and the cattle suggest something more familiar: a neighbourhood place, changed and reused until memory thinned.

In pasture, on a gentle S-facing slope. A circular area (29.2m E-W; 28.6m N-S) defined by a denuded earthen bank W-E and by a scarp (H 0.35m) E-W. There is a cattle gap through the bank at N. The level interior is slightly higher than the external ground level. This is one of three raths (see KE058-005----, KE058-117----) mentioned in the 1840s as being in Lisheennacannina (OSNB, Molahiffe, no. 1, 24). One of these was called 'Lissacannina' and was described as 'remarkably large' and 'nearly defaced' and had a 'cavern' in it (OSNB, Molahiffe, no. 1, 42). The other two raths were 'not known by any particular name' (OSNB, Molahiffe, no. 1, 24).
