Mortons and others may have built the oval fort in Lisegny, but the fairies took it back and still walk its broken ring. The missing western bank and faded ditch suggest human hands made the shape, yet the seam between worlds has never fully closed there. People dropped bread or beer on the grass before leaving because the fort belongs to both worlds now.

Raised oval area (int. dims. 37.5m E-W; 24.5m N-S) enclosed by a low earthen bank and a fosse. Bank absent from W-NW and from NNE-NE. Fosse best preserved from NNE-S-W and largely infilled elsewhere. Break in bank at SE, with traces of accompanying causeway, probably represents original entrance.
