Fairy forts are human ringforts misnamed because people stopped remembering the hands that built them. In Liscullane that forgotten hand leaves a circular scar twenty-eight metres wide, its earthen bank still standing beside a substantial fosse while cattle trap the saucer-shaped interior. The outer bank has surrendered to a field fence, and the causewayed entrance faces east as if waiting for someone who no longer knows the way back.

In level pasture. Circular raised area (28m N-S; 28.9m E-W) enclosed by earthen bank (int. H 0.5m) with substantial intervening fosse; outer bank survives SE->NNW, incorporated into field fence system; heavily overgrown. Faint trace of outer fosse to NE and E. Causewayed entrance to E.
