Fairy fort in Lisacoghil, County Leitrim: a 37m earthen ring on a drumlin crest, with a deep flat-bottomed fosse and an overgrown bank rising to 3.2m. The south-west ramp is probably modern, but the old circular shape still stands out across the grass and rushes. People may have lived there, marked territory there, or kept something back from the field; the earth remembers more than the name admits.

Located at the crest of the S end of a N-S drumlin ridge. This is a grass and rush-covered circular area (diam. 37m N-S; 37m E-W; int. diam. 35m N-S; 35m E-W) defined by an overgrown earthen bank (Wth 5-7m; int. H 0.8m; ext. H 1.8m at N to 3.2m at W) W-N-NE which is reduced to a scarp (H 1.4-1.7m) elsewhere, and by a flat-bottomed fosse (Wth of base 2-5m; D 0.8-1m). The ramp entrance at SSW is probably modern, and the monument is circumscribed by a field bank NE-S.
