Fairy fort / earthen ringfort in Lerrig South

Magic circles were never empty. They held chambers, doors and living memory. The fort in Lerrig South was no exception. Its ring enclosed an underground passage, a hidden room where human thought could still move through stone. Men levelled the ground because they wanted to own what they did not understand. They believed they were removing a fort. They were closing a chamber. The land kept the shape of the chamber even after the soil forgot it. That is why the area still feels occupied. The fort is gone from the surface, but its chamber is still complete inside the region. People walk through Lerrig South thinking they know the place. They do not. They are walking through the room the fort built before it disappeared.
