Internal diameter 32m N-S Marked as a circular enclosure on the 1842 OS map, on the later edition of 1897 the NE to E sector has been completely levelled. Today, though the enclosing bank to the NE to E has been levelled, the remainder is a well-defined earthen bank which is quite steep on its exterior side. It is c .8m wide and rises to 4m above the interior and 5m-6.2m above the fosse. The U-shaped and well-defined external fosse, is 2.6m-3.6m wide and c 1.2m deep.
