What is recorded here

Lackeen holds a broken ring where human hands built an earthen fort before memory faded. The bank still rises one and a half metres on part of its edge, enclosing nearly forty-five metres of grassy ground that slopes eastward into openness. People may have lived there, raised children there, and forgotten the name of the first family who ever walked its rim.

Circular area (44.8m NE-SW) enclosed by earthen bank (int. H 0.65m; ext. H 1.3m) SSE->NE; low rise elsewhere. Interior slopes gently down to E.
