What is recorded here

Lack East holds a earthen ringfort that local people still call a fairy fort, blending human history and Claret myth in one name. The earthworks stand in open country, simple enough to overlook and old enough to demand attention. Whether people lived there or fairies danced there, the field remembers both claims without choosing between them.
