Fairy fort / earthen ringfort in Knockroe (tirerrill By., Lisconny Ed) is a fairy fort or earthen ringfort in Knockroe (tirerrill By., Lisconny Ed), County Sligo, Ireland. The circular area is twenty-nine metres across and is enclosed by a steep-sided earthen bank and an external fosse. A causeway crosses the fosse at the southern entrance, while the interior slopes slightly downward toward the south. The site was recorded as Lismalula in 1836 and remains visible in undulating pasture near the top of a south-facing slope.
In undulating pasture, near the top of a S-facing slope. A circular area (int. diam. 29m) enclosed by an earthen bank and an external fosse. A flat-topped and steep-sided bank (Wth 3.5m; int. H 1.2m) drops 2.1m to the base of the fosse (Wth 4m; D 0.8m). The entrance (1.2m) is in the S arc with a causeway across the fosse. The interior slopes down slightly to S. Recorded in 1836 as 'Lismalula' (OSNB vol. 2, 73).
