Knockfin holds a fourty-four metre ring where earth still stands fifteen feet high, blocking the entrance that led inside. The fairies took the gate when humans stopped visiting, leaving only a shallow ditch at the east to mark where breath and shadow parted. What lives in the closed circle now is no longer human, but the soil remembers every footprint that crossed it before the door vanished.

A circular area (max. diam. c. 44m) defined by a scarp (H c. 1.5m). Slight evidence of fosse at E and SE. No evidence of original entrance.
