Situated on high ground in upland area overlooking ravine to the SW. Circular area (diam 31m N-S) enclosed by two earthen banks with intervening fosse (Wth 2.5m) and entrance gap (Wth 3.3m) to S. Inner bank (Wth 1.5m; int. H 0.7m; ext. H 2m) is best preserved with the outer bank only visible at S where it acts as a field fence. Field fences radiate out from the site at N, S and W. Quarry in the SW sector of interior has destroyed bank and fosse.
