What is recorded here

Knockavinnane holds a earthen ringfort, a circular defence built by human hands yet named for fairy occupation. The clay wall still stands in County Kerry, marking a place where ordinary life and local belief collided. People may have lived inside, watched the land or fled danger, while others saw the fort as a doorway into another world. The name preserves both truths: human making and fairy memory.
