What is recorded here

Knockash holds a thirty-metre circular rath where two earthen banks frame a water-filled ditch, though overgrowth and boundary walls now choke much of its form. The site preserves little more than ghostly traces of its outer edge, yet the inner bank still rises beside the wall like a forgotten shoulder. People may have lived there before the land swallowed the shape, but the fort has retreated into mystery, keeping only enough visible to suggest it once resisted the dark.

On the N-facing slope of Knockash. Poorly preserved circular rath (diam. 30m) defined by two banks and an intervening fosse. The W half of the monument is obscured by overgrowth. The townland boundary wall cuts through the site at NE and SE. The inner bank is best preserved to the E of wall; only slight traces of the outer bank survive.
