Knockaninaun holds a earthen ringfort where clay and stone still mark the boundary between human life and fairy temptation. The fort stands in County Clare, not as a ruined fantasy but as a shaped place where people lived, worked and remembered the risk of crossing into the unseen. Its name warns that strength and identity must align, for a fort named after fairy trickery becomes a chamber where human pride can be dismantled.
