What is recorded here

Knockanevin holds a forty-metre earthen ring on a west-facing slope, marked clearly on maps from 1842 to 1936. The earthworks disappeared beneath thick growth, denying entry to the very place they surrounded. What lives inside that hidden circle remains unknown, waiting patiently for someone brave enough to break through the vegetation and ask it directly.
